Getting Started on X89 Your First Hour

You registered. You’ve got the app open. Now comes the part where most people get confused because every platform is different and nobody explains it properly. Here’s what actually happens in your first hour.

One Thing First The Age Requirement

You have to be 18 or older. When you registered, you confirmed this. X89 is serious about it and will close accounts if they find out someone lied about their age.

Also, check your state’s laws. Some states in India restrict online real-money gaming. It’s your responsibility to know if this is legal where you live. Look it up if you’re not sure.

Get Verified Before You Forget

You can’t withdraw money without verifying who you are. Upload your government ID now instead of waiting until you actually want to withdraw.

Go to Account Settings. Find “Verification” or “KYC.” Upload your Aadhaar or passport. They might ask for proof of address too.

This takes five minutes and it’s non-negotiable if you ever want to get your winnings out. Do it immediately.

Your First Deposit

Go to Deposit. Pick an amount. Link your UPI app or bank account. Confirm.

Money hits your account instantly.

Don’t dump your whole budget in at once. Deposit Rs 1,000 or Rs 2,000 first. Learn how the games actually feel when there’s real money involved. Then deposit more if you want to keep playing seriously.

The Welcome Bonus

You get up to Rs 1,500 bonus on your first deposit. It shows up automatically. No code needed. No waiting.

Check the bonus terms though. There’s usually a play-through requirement you have to bet the bonus a certain number of times before you can withdraw it. Different platforms have different rules. Read yours.

The Interface What’s What

Games are on the left or at the top. Pick one, it opens. Your account balance is visible at all times (top right usually). When you win or lose, it updates immediately.

Wallet is where you deposit or withdraw. Account Settings is where you change your password or upload your ID. The help icon opens a chat with support.

You don’t need to memorise this. You’ll find your way around after two sessions naturally.

Your First Game

Play Teen Patti if you’ve never done this before. It’s the most common game here.

Go to Games → Teen Patti. Pick a table. Check the minimum stakes so you know what you’re sitting down for. Sit down.

You’ll get three cards. Other players around the table will bet. You’ll check, bet, raise, or fold. That’s one hand. Do it again.

It feels natural pretty fast. You’re not swimming against a current.

The Rules Are Built In

Every game has a Rules button. Hit it. Read the rules. The rules don’t disappear they’re always there if you need to check something during play.

You don’t have to memorise anything.

Your First Withdrawal

You won Rs 500. You want it in your bank account. Go to Wallet → Withdraw. Enter the amount. Pick UPI or bank transfer. Confirm.

It goes through within a few hours usually, sometimes immediately.

You need to be verified first (ID uploaded). Your bank details need to match your registered name. If neither of those is done, you’ll get an error. Fix it, then withdraw.

If something goes wrong, message support. They’ll either fix it or tell you what’s missing.

Don’t Share Your Password

Ever. Not with anyone. Not even someone claiming to be X89 support. X89’s support team will never ask for your password. If they do, it’s not actually X89.

If you’re worried about it, turn on two-factor authentication in your settings. This makes it harder for someone else to log in even if they somehow get your password.

Deposit Limits Optional But Useful

You can set a daily, weekly, or monthly limit on how much you can deposit. Once you hit it, you can’t deposit more until the period resets.

Go to Account Settings → Deposit Limits. Set a number. You’re now locked into that for the month (or day, or week, depending on what you chose).

This is useful if you’re worried about overspending. Knowing you physically can’t deposit more than a certain amount is different from just promising yourself you won’t.

One Account, Multiple Devices

Download the app on your phone. Play on it. Switch to your laptop. Play there. Switch to your tablet. It’s all the same account. Your balance follows you. Your game history follows you.

Playing Responsibly The Real Part

Only play with money you can afford to lose. Not “money that would be nice to have back.” Money that if it disappeared, your life doesn’t change.

If you’re constantly thinking about the platform, chasing losses, or using money meant for bills, stop. Go to Account Settings and use self-exclusion to lock yourself out for a while. Call support and tell them you need help.

There are resources in India. iCall is one. Your doctor is another. Don’t pretend you’re fine when you’re not.

Your First Real Session

Deposit. Verify your ID. Pick a game. Play a few hands. Win or lose. If you lose your deposit, that’s part of it. You tried something.

If you like it, keep going. If you don’t, you’re done.

If you do keep playing, learning actual strategy comes next how to make better decisions so you win more often. But that’s a conversation for later. Right now you’re just getting the lay of the land.
